I will attempt to...

  • Clearly explain the issues that must be addressed.

  • Return phone calls within one business day.

  • Explain fees and charges clearly.

  • Explain the likely outcomes of a matter, to the best of my ability.  I can't make guarantees, but I'll do my best to let you know of your chances.

  • Provide a clear explanation of costs versus benefits.

  • Notify the client promptly if it is necessary to change appointments.

  • Clearly explain the attorney-client agreement.

The client should...

  • Explain their problem as clearly as possible.

  • Provide documents promptly.

  • Notify the me of any difficulty providing documents in order to implement alternative solutions.

  • Provide names, working phone numbers and addresses at the beginning of the attorney-client relationship.

  • Attempt to return phone calls within one business day.

  • Return all phone calls and letters.  Otherwise, I may decide to end the relationship with the client.

  • Notify the attorney of appointment changes such as location or time.

  • Provide accurate insight about how the opposing side feels about the problem

Remember, costs will be lower if...

  • The client is better prepared

  • The attorney is better informed
