The most typical personal injury is automobile-related, but I've worked with claims of various types. Not everybody needs a lawyer to handle their personal injury claim, but everybody should have a lawyer to whom they can ask questions. If you decide you need a lawyer, please give me a call. I'm surprised how long a person goes without updating their Will. When I create a Will, I sit down with you and discuss multiple contingencies - what happens if person A dies before person B? This will give your Will more shelf life. I can also provide an electronic copy of your Will through e-mail, so that you can update it yourself later.
If you need to take someone to court for violating an agreement, please give me a call. This is definitely an area where lawyers need to be involved. Also, just because you don't have a signed document does not mean you are without a case.
