I can help businesses or individuals on this.  I'm surprised just how often a company will try to collect upon a bad debt.  Of course, most of the time the debt is legitimate; it's just that the debtor won't or can't pay.  To businesses, I always ask the most important question:  is this worth going after, or are you just throwing good money after bad?

Bankruptcy

This is my favorite area of law.  I'm surprised how often I hear about a complete violation of someone's  First Amendment rights. If you think your rights have been violated, give me a call.

This is for discrimination based on sex, age, race, religion and/or disability.  Just because we live in the 21st century doesn't mean that a company won't discriminate.

This is for all the constitutional claims that fall outside of religious liberty.  This is for free speech, equal rights, unconstitutional laws, etc.

If your property has been damaged by an accident or by recklessness, give me a call.  This is another area of law that people might be able to handle themselves if they had an attorney around.

This is where a lot of people get into trouble.  They sign documents without knowing what they've signed.  I can review any contract before you sign on the dotted line.

This is for landlords who need to evict a tenant.

I'm surprised how long a person goes without updating their Will. When I create a Will, I sit down with you and discuss multiple contingencies - what happens if person A dies before person B?  This will give your Will more shelf life.  I can also provide an electronic copy of your Will through e-mail, so that you can update it yourself later.

If you need to take someone to court for violating an agreement, please give me a call.  This is definitely an area where lawyers need to be involved.  Also, just because you don't have a signed document does not mean you are without a case.
